Cao Fei (b. 1978, Guangzhou) is currently based in Beijing. Fei is an artist and filmmaker that works with various mediums including digital media and photography. Fei takes inspiration from Surrealism and combines social commentary, popular aesthetics and documentary conventions to reflect on the rapid changes faced by society in the digital age.
